MIT lecture and E Buss second test .......
Well this goes back to the date of 11th April 2008, 2 pm. Management of Innovation and Technology (MIT) a subject among the most important ones in our course of MBA(Tech). Prof Mukadam was teaching us how a venture capitalist works and blah blah blah.....
What was awaiting for us was at 5 pm, it the second test of E Business. Everyone had prepared thoroughly well for the subject (highly exaggerated), well actually no one really bothered to study for the test thinking it is GAS subject and we can bluff as much as you want.. So everyone was nice and relaxed in the MIT lecture.
After 3:30 pm the prof gives us the break and our CR does the trick, WHAT?? he enters the office and quietly gets out the E-buss test paper. Hurrah!!!!!!!! but looking at the question paper everyone was confused no one really knew the answers WHY??? because it was set by our Prof who seemed to have little knowledge about the subject and was expecting the students to ratofy the entire Kalakota (the author who had written the book on E buss and our prof was referring the same).
So the lecture again starts and of course everyone is not attending, someone outside is trying to solve the question paper. As Prof. Mukadam teaches....... and teaches......here comes the phone chain (the method used to broadcast important messages to the entire class using SMS) from Mads as usual. But today the phone chain is not about any change in the schedule of the class but it is the first 3 answers of the E Buss test paper. second phone chain next 3 answers....and so on ............ in this manner we get the answers of all the questions of the phone.... and not only that even the subjective answers were passed on to some high end phones using bluetooth..... wooooow what use of technology
You know we were learning the management of innovation and technology in the lecture of management of innovation and technology. i.e. using the SMS and bluetooth all the answers to the questions were distributed in no time at all.
And finally at 5 pm we all go to give the exam and everyone writes the same answers in the same order with probably the same mistakes ;-). It was fun being a part of this because first of all if we had not know the answers than everyone would have failed to clear the test and moreover our Prof. had set such a paper that would require you to ratofy each and every line of the book which is not possible at alllll.
It was the most memorable day in my life.
